John Hubert brings more than 30 years of financial services experience to SilverLake Wealth Management.
He began his career in the employee benefits sector with American General Life and, in 1997, co-founded Lion & Panther Financial Group with his father, Donald Hubert—a longtime financial advisor. For over a decade, the firm offered clients comprehensive financial planning, insurance solutions, and investment services.
In 2011, John launched Catamount Asset Management, an independent Registered Investment Advisor (RIA) focused exclusively on investment management. Under his leadership, Catamount built a strong presence throughout Vermont, servicing families and small businesses.
John is a 1993 graduate of Middlebury College and a former member of the Middlebury football team.
John continues to serve clients from his office at 271 North Main Street in Rutland, Vermont, where he lives with his wife, Kristin, a Program Manager at VSAC and Doctoral Professor of Education at Northeastern University. Outside the office, the Huberts enjoy supporting their daughters’ pursuits: Addison, a first-year soccer player at Bentley University, and Makenna, a master’s student at Endicott College.
