#Sharethewealth - November 2023 Newsletter

Throughout 2023, the SilverLake team has been focused on addressing the needs of those in the community through our year-long commitment to the community, our “Share the Wealth” campaign.  The purpose behind the “Share the Wealth” Campaign is to contribute our time and resources through: 

• Fundraisers and drives to help raise awareness, exposure, and provide the necessary items for local charities and those in need.
• Educational events that will focus on financial literacy, helping people develop good financial habits and discussing the process of building long-term wealth.
• Volunteer opportunities, supporting community events, and bringing important issues to light.

Thus far, we have accomplished giving back to the community through:

•  Donating 130 beanies, 432 pairs of socks and 108 pairs of weatherproof gloves and an additional $200 monetary donation to COTS Burlington. https://vimeo.com/801231743
• Partnered with Pine Forest Children’s Center, Chamberlin Elementary School and EJRP Preschool to create and deliver Valentine’s Day cards to residents at Birchwood Terrace Rehab and Healthcare in Burlington, and Maple Ridge Lodge in Essex.
• Advisor lecture for the University of Vermont Grossman School of Business on personal finance and investments.
• Participated in Green Up Day Vermont collecting over 10 bags of trash in Williston from Blair Park, Harvest Lane and Maple Tree Place.
• Donation of over $500 worth of pet food and supplies to the Humane Society of Chittenden County. https://vimeo.com/852513585
